Footballers Andres Iniesta, Ivan de la Pena and Carles Puyol drive since last September Olyseum, the first social network connecting sports fans with their idols. Olyseum aims to bring the highest international level athletes to their fans through a platform that allows them to find information, access to unpublished content and interact like never before.
Olyseum is a project founded and led by engineer Carlos Grenoir and with the participation of Kevin Mitnick, considered the world's most famous hacker; Ivan de la Peña, Carles Puyol and Andres Iniesta players; and entrepreneurs Jan Aramburu and Enric Flix.
What is Olyseum?
Olyseum name comes from the combination of Olympia, the mythical city of the Olympics in ancient Greece, and Coliseum, the largest amphitheater built in the Roman Empire. Just as evolution has been organizing sport in history, Olyseum intends to organize this development between the offline and online sports world. Launched in English and Spanish, this new social network committed to the proximity of sports media and the exclusivity of its content, more direct and more interesting and organized content relationships.
This is a PPP available for iOS and Android that allows you to create a user profile and has a simple interface, divided mainly into two parts: Olyseum and Iniesta Community. In the Olyseum, the user can search user profiles to follow and interact with them. The contents are divided into three areas: the generated exclusively by Olyseum and ambassadors, generated by users who you follow and finally, a hub of news that brings together in one place dozens of sports sources in real time .
Olyseum is where most innovates in its economic model cooperative social network. The approach is very simple: users receive part of the profits that the company generates advertising, sponsorship and digital assets. The "popularity" will determine the monetary amount received by each user, a concept that depends on your followers and friends of the guests to recommend, how much like the content they publish, their insight when making "likes" and " shares "on content that may end up becoming popular, as well as their age and commitment to the social network.
