In Brasilia, an unprecedented event brings together great national and international names to discuss the issue of cyber security
The Brazilian Army, through the Department of Science and Technology (DCT) and the Terrestrial Operations Command (COTER), is pleased to support the "Brazil Cyber Defense" and the "7th Military Simulation and Technology Conference (CSTM 2018 ), Activities that aim to promote the debate on security and cyber defense, communications, electronic warfare and simulation between the sectors of government and Brazilian society.
The event takes place from April 23 to 26, at the International Convention Center of Brasil, in Brasília (DF), with an exhibition of equipment and technology solutions; conferences; thematic rooms and workshops, all focused on cybernetics, communications, electronic warfare and simulation.
The fair is attended by major national and world renowned authorities in these areas, most notably Kevin Mitnick, the largest cybersecurity lecturer in the world; Paul de Souza, founder and president of the Cyber Security Forum Initiative; and Demi Getschko, Chief Executive Officer of the Information and Coordination Center of Ponto BR.
In addition, other events of great relevance to the Army and the Armed Forces will be enhanced: meeting of the heads of the Department of Science and Technology of the Armed Forces; Viking Operation 2018; meeting of the Industry, Defense and Academia System; meeting of commanders of military communication organizations; meeting of the Working Group Interforças; preliminary meeting of the Cyber Guardian Exercise; and Initial Planning Meeting of the Ibero-American Exercise.
